When booking Kanalhølen, you get exclusive access to three private fishing pools and a traditional Norwegian lodge with annex — entirely to yourselves. The property offers comfortable accommodation across the main house and annex, a fully equipped kitchen, and cozy living spaces overlooking the river. Just a 3-minute walk from the water, guests also have access to three riverside huts (“gapahuker”), including a larger hut with a wood-fired sauna.

Spacious kitchen with dining space for up to 8 guests, and a comfortable living room to relax in after a day by the river.

Private fishing across 3 pools

Exclusive salmon fishing across three private pools: Stasjonshølen, Kanalhølen and Skolehølen. The fishing stretch covers 1 km of river with fishing rights on both sides — 2 km in total. A small boat in the river provides easy access to fishing on the opposite bank.

Riverside Huts & Wood-fired Sauna

Each of the three pools has its own riverside hut (“gapahuk”). The largest is located at Skolehølen, just a 3-minute walk from the house. It features a large indoor fireplace, a wood-fired sauna, and dining space for at least eight guests.

Here, you can cook, relax and gather between fishing sessions right by the riverbank. All riverside huts are also accessible by car.
